Nail art is the creative side of a manicure: drawings, lines, dots, coloured French tips or special finishes on your nails. At Cool Nails we paint it freehand in our salon in Vila de Gràcia, on top of a semi-permanent manicure, BIAB or gel nails. You can ask for a detail on a single nail or a full design on all ten.
Hand-painted nail designs in Barcelona
We work with more than 12 techniques: gradients and ombré, coloured French tips, minimalist lines, dots, stamping, chrome foils, mirror pigments, encapsulation, marble, tortoiseshell, 3D florals and rhinestones. We do subtle designs for every day and bolder ones for a wedding, a party or a photo shoot.
If you have an idea, send us a reference photo on WhatsApp before your appointment. That way we can prepare colours and materials and tell you how long it will take and what it will cost.
Three levels of nail art
Flash. A quick touch on all your nails: dots, fine lines, stickers, glitter or mirror, aurora, jelly and chrome finishes. It adds about 10 minutes to your appointment.
Basic. A simple one-colour freehand drawing: flowers, hearts, stars and similar motifs. Priced per nail or for all ten.
Premium. Our most detailed level: abstract designs and asymmetric lines, several colours, cartoon drawings, 3D relief, rhinestones and tortoiseshell. Also per nail or for all ten.
Coloured French and baby boomer
A French manicure doesn't have to be a white tip any more. We do it in any colour, with a fine line or a V shape, and with details like dots or a second shade. Baby boomer is the soft pink-to-white ombré, natural and elegant. Both can be added to a semi-permanent, BIAB or gel manicure.

Nail art prices in Barcelona
Flash nail art on all nails costs €5. Basic costs €2 per nail or €10 for all ten, and premium €4.90 per nail or €24.90 for all ten. A French tip costs €5 (€10 for XL) and baby boomer €10.
The base manicure is priced separately: semi-permanent manicure €24.90, Russian manicure with BIAB €36.90 and gel or acrygel nails from €49.90. For example, a semi-permanent manicure with flash nail art comes to €29.90.

How long does nail art last?
The design is sealed under the same top coat as the colour, so it lasts as long as the base: about 3 to 4 weeks on semi-permanent or BIAB, and until your infill if you wear gel or acrygel nails.
