The Russian manicure with BIAB we do at our Gràcia salon is the most complete option if you are looking for a Russian manicure in Barcelona. It combines two premium techniques in a single service: the Russian manicure, which cleans and prepares the cuticle dry with an electric drill for a precise finish right to the edge of the nail, and a hard builder base (BIAB), which levels and reinforces the nail plate to create a resistant structure. It is our most complete service, made for anyone who wants the cleanest, longest-lasting finish possible.

What is a Russian manicure?
The Russian manicure is the technique preferred by professionals. It uses a low-speed electric drill to remove the cuticle dry, eliminating dead skin with maximum hygiene and no irritation. The result is an impeccable contour, defined right to the edge of the nail, and polish that adheres better and lasts considerably longer than with a conventional manicure.
What is a BIAB manicure?
BIAB stands for Builder In A Bottle: a builder gel applied as a base to reinforce the natural nail without using acrylic. We work with Hard builder base (BIAB), the most structural version: it levels the surface, creates a natural C-curve, adds strength and protects the nail. It removes without damage and is ideal for thin, weak or post-acrylic nails.

Russian + BIAB: why we combine them
Each technique improves the result of the other. The Russian technique leaves a perfect contour and a clean surface on which the BIAB base grips better and lasts longer. You notice the result from the very first visit: an impeccable manicure right to the cuticle edge, with stronger nails, a perfected natural curve and a finish that is much tougher than a conventional semi-permanent.

Ideal for
- Clients looking for the cleanest, longest-lasting finish

- Pre-event or pre-wedding prep
- Anyone who has tried classic semi-permanent and wants to level up
How often should you renew BIAB?
The BIAB base lasts 3 to 4 weeks. By then your nail has grown and a gap shows near the cuticle, so we recommend booking your next appointment at 3 or 4 weeks. Keeping that rhythm means your natural nail stays protected the whole time and gets stronger.
BIAB or semi-permanent?
If your nails are thin, bend or break, BIAB is the best option because it gives them structure. If they are healthy and you just want colour, a semi-permanent manicure is quicker and cheaper. Not sure? Send us a photo of your nails on WhatsApp and we'll tell you which suits you.
