Chrome nails (or mirror effect nails) are a manicure with mirror-like metallic finish, achieved with chrome powder over semi-permanent polish. Available in silver, gold, champagne, copper or multi-tone. It's the technical base of many other trend finishes (glazed, aurora, jelly glaze) and on its own remains one of the most requested options.
The finish is really metallic: it reflects the environment like a curved mirror. This means the colour base must be dark (black, dark brown, midnight blue) for the chrome to look clean. Over light tones it loses strength.

Chrome maintenance
The chrome finish is demanding on the surface: any base irregularity shows more. That's why we work it over BIAB Mega Base or Russian manicure with BIAB, where the surface stays perfectly flat. Lasts 3-4 weeks like any semi-permanent, but the mirror effect loses intensity slightly from the second week.
